Chyron advanced creation and playback graphics package designed for teleproduction content creators. Lyric provides flexible 2D/3D composition methods and real-time performance, composition and real-time display of graphics for television broadcast and post-production applications.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONALITY
- Distributed workgroup support: Share content across LAN and WAN. Operates on multiple platforms - PC workstations as well as Duet for real-time playback.
- Modular toolsets: Object-oriented application with universal controls such as viewer, transport, browser, and timeline. Tool optimization for individual tasks such as composition and playback with easy switching between operations. Editable playlist for on-air playback operations.
- Resolution Independent: Output to HDTV and SDTV resolutions and aspect ratios. Re-purpose content for Internet and multi-media distribution.
- Asset exchange: iNFiNiT! family RGBA, and message import. Graphic program interaction with use of TrueType fonts, TIFF, TGA, etc. file formats.
- Exchange templates between different stations and third party CAL API applications.
- Windows application: Standard GUI, user conventions, file structure, and development tools. Similar operation to other graphics programs.
- Animation: Create object based animations including roll and crawl with 2D objects in 3D space. Use tools such as timelines and keyframe graphs to easily build complex animations.
