This HD I/O board enables SGI Onyx2 workstations to generate and accept real-time, uncompressed HDTV content
SGI board enables SGI Onyx2 workstations to generate and accept real-time, uncompressed HDTV content in 1080i and 720P formats. The SGI HD I/O board supports 1080I and 720p ATSC HDTV formats and also supports genlock. Other ATSC formats will be supported in staged software releases. The board has a parallel I/O connector. Special cabling is provided to connect to external serial/parallel converters such as YEM's PSP-292M.
