Internet streaming coder

Clari.net is an Internet streaming coder designed specifically with broadcast compliant inputs and streaming media output. Available in a number of configurations, Clari.net provides headless operation with an LCD display in a compact 2RU rack mounted frame. The MS Windows operating system enables Clari.net to utilise leading streaming media software such as Real Networks G2 and Microsoft's Media Tools for ease of compatibility with your web hosting service.

Hardware reliability is assured with the provision of dual power supplies and internal cooling. Fail-safe operation is further enhanced with an embedded NT operating system on the PC motherboard with solid state storage.

Extended streaming audio is provided by the optional Pro-Bel digital audio signal processing module which greatly improves the audio quality and also removes the need for external signal equalisation equipment.

Clari.net incorporates an LCD screen providing important monitoring and status information. In addition to basic modes including system, encode, and PSU monitoring, Clari.net also displays useful navigational information including:
• ISP target address
• Streaming rate and status
• Basic DSP parameters
• Stop/start encoding
• CPU status
• Encoder type options: Real Networks G2/Microsoft Media Player
