Internet Video Company Partners with TV Stations for Streaming TV Commercials on the Web

Internet video streaming provider SeeItFirst.com., (Fremont, CA) is partnering with New York-based Granite Broadcasting Corp. to provide enhanced streaming video technology services for its ABC affiliate in San Jose (KNTV) and its Warner Bros. affiliate in San Francisco (KBWB-TV). Under the agreement, SeeItFirst.com will host videos that provide the station's Web site customers with commercials that offer enhanced features and information, including legal disclaimers and disclosures, text messages, coupons, and other promotional information over the Internet.

SeeItFirst.com's embedded technology and systems integration techniques are applied to existing video content, in either analog or digital form without specialized equipment. After capturing and encoding the video content it can be digitized for direct display on SeeItFirst.com's Interactive, video-hosted Web site, or through any collaborative Web site location. The technology allows users to view interactive videos through limited bandwidth and can be viewed through Quicktime, Microsoft's Windows Media Player, and JAVA-based players that don't require a software download.

Granite Broadcasting has previously entered into alliances with Yahoo! Inc., Career Mosaic, CHEK Inc., and Broadcast.com. and currently streams six of its station newscasts live on the Internet, as well as a locally produced technology show.
