Interactive Effects, Inc.t supports the full line of Video cards on O2, Octane and Onyx IR2 workstations. Utilizing import and export of CMX EDL files, Interactive Effects, Inc.t can conform and output content from a variety of sources including popular uncompressed and compressed off-line systems. Interactive Effects, Inc.t provides full deck control for frame accurate layoff and capture.

Editing features in Interactive Effects, Inc.t include full ansi-wipe and dissolve support, linear and nonlinear frame rate adjustment, full trim handle support, clip slip and slide, and full user definable keyboard definitions allowing

Audio features in Interactive Effects, Inc.t include full AES and ADAT digital support. Audio layers support full trim, cut, slip and roll as well as edit timeline waveform display. Audio recording capabilities allow for true multitrack recording for video/film dubbing and foley work.

For Film editing Piranha HD supports full 10 bit per channel color space, high speed importing of Cineon and DPX files, and film EDL conforming support. Piranha can import frames captured from both full aperture film scanners and popular DataCines such as the Phillips Spirit and Cintel C-Reality. Interactive Effects, Inc.t also supports over 25 file formats from a variety of 3D packages on both the SGI and NT/Macintosh Systems.

Unlike many Editing systems, Interactive Effects, Inc.t runs completely under the Silicon Graphics XFS file system enabling it to share disk space with other applications as well as support high-speed networking schemes such as Fiber Channel SAN file systems.
