Videonics is a public corporation (VDNX on the NASDAQ exchange) located in Campbell, California. The company was founded in June of 1986 to apply state-of-the-art computer technology to video post-production equipment for the consumer, videographer, and professional video production markets. It has grown to become a leader in digital video products.

Videonics is a leading designer of affordable, high-quality, digital video post-production equipment. Videonics products are used in education, business, government, and by amateur and professional video producers. They are also used in the broadcast, cable, video presentation, Internet production and streaming, and video conferencing markets. Beginning in late 1999, the Company began transitioning its marketing and product development effort to that of providing tools for the expanding markets of Internet production and streaming, desktop video, and video presentations. While this transition expands the Company's original charter, it stays within the Company's core competency as experts in the development of affordable digital video equipment.
