Emmy Award winner Orad Hi-Tec Systems, a world leader in TV production technology and sports broadcasting tools, announced today the launch of an impressive array of new products and technologies for broadcasting. The new lineup of products will be joining the already acclaimed Orad CyberSet line.
    1. DVG-10: A revolutionary PC-based videographics workstation featuring the market's highest 3D graphical performance. Orad harnesses the latest videographic technology to power its real time broadcast and other demanding applications – virtual sets, on air graphics, sports animations. Simply, the best video and graphic performance available on the market today and an HD version coming soon - please refer to the full press release on the DVG for more information.

    2. CyberGraphics: A novel on-air 3D graphics system combining a special workflow that does not necessitate any 3D design skills with unique features and versatility. For the first time in our industry, broadcast graphics users are able to choose the platform they prefer: Unix (Onyx, Octane, O2), or Windows™ NT like Orad's new DVG-10. No other system on the market is able to provide this level of flexibility.

For the first time, users will be able to get real-time performance without having to invest in expensive workstations either by using the new DVG platform or CyberGraphics' unique "render to memory" technique on the O2. Customers get all these features and more for just a fraction of the cost they used to pay for the current on air graphics products. CyberGraphics control can reside on the same platform or on a remote PC computer and users can remotely drive the virtual scene and insert or import data during broadcasting.

    3. CyberSet 4.0: New release able to provide the high level CyberSet users with intuitive and easy-to-use GUI for animation authoring and real time control, as well as additional animation capabilities and new studio interconnectivity. By improving the workflow and adding new automation functions, the whole production process becomes more efficient and integrated, resulting in a significant labor saving potential for the studio.

The previous CyberSet Main Control Module and the Animation Module have been combined into a unified software – one tool for creating animations, scripting, previewing, controlling both real time production and external studio systems. The new user interface creates a tree hierarchy with easy access to elements and macros.

    4. X-Pecto, X-Ploro: Xync's much-admired X-PECTO studio camera system and commended X-PLORO actor tracking system are now integrated into the CyberSet family, providing a powerful new addition to Orad's pattern recognition and sensor based tracking technology. With this rich variety of technology in-house, Orad tailors the tracking solution to the budget, studio size and production needs of its users. Indeed, many customers prefer a fusion of two tracking methods for the same studio. Xync's precise camera calibration method has been adapted for Orad's sports enhancements systems – CyberSport and CyberPaint

Xync's tracking technology enables unmatched performance and no interference in the user's studio operation. Users are able to use any number of cameras.

X-PLORO is the first wireless/sensorless actor tracking system with the talent freed from cables and extra hardware. Two overhead cameras on the studio ceiling or walls film the scene, an imaging unit identifies and accurately locates the actors.

X-PLORO enables the talent to stroll freely and interact closely with virtual objects in the scene, stepping in front, beyond or even into virtual objects.

These new innovations will join Orad's already acclaimed line of CyberSet and other broadcast technologies.
