Philips, Incite Launch New NLE System at NAB2000

At NAB2000, Philips (Amsterdam) and Incite Multimedia (Frankfurt, Germany) will debut a new turnkey NLE system based on Incite's specialized editing software.

Dubbed "IncitePro," the new product line will be integrated into all of Philips' broadcast systems and be exclusively sold and distributed by Philips. IncitePro will feature Incite's real-time effects, Live Input editing features and flexible networking.

"This more than streamlining a product," says Amir Rijavec, software manager for Incite Multimedia Corp. "This will spark a series of interesting software developments designed directly for the Philips turnkey solution."

The system will be demonstrated at Philips' booth (L6910) in combination with the EditStream News editing system, EditStream is an optimized news editing application, capable of sharing files with Incite Pro as a high-end finishing editing application. A stand-alone version of IncitePro will be show at both the Philips and Incite booths (M7970) as an advanced editing platform.
