Pinnacle Systems announces DV500 Plus, offering full Adobe Premiere 6.0 support
DV500 PLUS is the successor to Pinnacle Systems' popular DV500. The product retains all of the hardware features of the DV500 such as analog and digital in/out. In addition to real time support for new Adobe Premiere 6.0 features, DV500 PLUS offers real time image correction, real-time effects and transitions and real-time titles with TitleDeko RT. DV500 PLUS is equipped with a DV2 Speed Codec with dual processor support for ultra fast rendering. DV500 PLUS exports MPEG-2, MPEG-1, MP3, Real Media and Windows Media.

Bundled with Adobe Premiere 6.0, DV500 PLUS offers users real-time effects and transitions, multi-track audio mixing, real-time image correction, real-time 16:9 wide screen aspect ratio, and real-time titling with TitleDeko RT. It features inputs and outputs for both analog (SVHS, composite) and digital (DV/1394/FireWire) video equipment. Internally the DV500 PLUS uses a dual-stream hardware DV CODEC, providing ultra fast rendering. The DV CODEC maintains a 100% digital communication between digital video equipment and the DV500, as well as providing extremely high quality encoding for analog video.
