The DPS Dual Channel Expansion System provides power and control for two DPS Personal Series or MicroSYNC cards in a compact 1U rack chassis. Independent operation of DPS TBC, MicroSYNC, V-Scope and routing switcher cards is provided via the front panel controls. Two memory locations and a unity reset function are available for each channel. A rear panel RS-232 connector provides compatibility with DPS remote control panels and software programs.
Although the same basic frame is used for many different DPS modular products, various front panel and firmware combinations provide application specific functionality. Typical configurations include single and dual channel TBC, video synchronizer, audio synchronizer and audio/video combination system. This building block approach makes it easy and econimical to re-configure systems.
