Video Production Studio

e-Studio is a video production studio that creates live shows and simultaneously broadcasts them on the Internet and TV. At the heart of the system is an ECHOlab 5000 digital video SuperSwitcher, with integrated NT workstation. The studio adds the ability to broadcast on the Internet with an integrated RealNetworks G2 server, audio and e-Studio software. The web viewer can experience video, audio, graphics and chat all in an intuitive interface. Web power-viewers can customize what they see with remote web control.

Television broadcasters can use the product as a digital switcher, with integrated DVE and other devices, to create live TV shows for broadcast on television and simultaneously broadcast the same live show on the Web, adding web advertisements and other content.

eStudio consists of four models. All existing ECHOlab 5000 SuperSwitcher options are available for the product, including DVEs from Pinnacle Systems, still store and CG from Inscriber Technologies, video servers from DPS and Pinnacle Systems, Ultimatte chromakeys, V-LAN control of tape decks and more. All systems are 601 digital, and accept I/O in both digital and all popular analog formats. All ECHOlab SuperSwitchers can add webcasting by upgrading to the e-Studio. The four e-Studio models are:

• e-Studio 5200 with streamlined control
  
• e-Studio 5500 adds a compact 1.5 M/E switcher control panel, for power-users
  
• e-Studio 5800 provides a larger 1.5 M/E switcher control panel, for larger studios
  
• e-Studio 5900 adds another M/E to the 5800, for a 2.5 M/E control panel with 6 keyers
