Pure Digital, One Fiber System
The new Pure Digital, One Fiber approach uses all digital processing and transmission to send any combination of analog video, audio and data signals, over one fiber optic cable, in either one or two directions. The system converts incoming analog signals to a pure digital bitstream, optically transmits the stream over a single fiber, and then converts the signals back to their original analog form at the receiving end. Because of the all-digital processing and transmission, there is no crosstalk or drifting, distortion is minimized and the system delivers a uniform, high-quality signal over the entire transmission distance.
The Pure Digital, One Fiber concept will change the way individuals specify, purchase and use fiber optic transmission systems within the security market. Customers will order custom-configured units to meet the specific signal transmission requirements of their particular application.
