Millions of households can access Amazon Originals via the Prime Video app on the TiVo Platform
RCN, leading providers of high-speed internet, digital TV and phone services across the U.S., today announced the availability of the Amazon Prime Video app through the company’s TiVo set-top boxes. Pay-TV subscribers with an Amazon Prime membership can stream content via the Prime Video app on their TiVo devices.
This service enhancement adds to RCN’s already robust catalogue of streaming services such as Netflix, HBOGO, Hulu, and more. Integrated within the TiVo guide, customers can launch the Prime Video app directly from their TiVo set top box. Once logged into Prime Video on TiVo, the Prime Video app is as easy as pressing play.

Through RCN’s fiber-rich network, customers will be able to stream Prime Video content through reliable, high-speed internet, with Gig internet with speeds up to 940 Mbps. By providing these advanced telecommunications services and strategic partnerships, RCN will maintain high customer satisfaction while attracting potential new subscribers. These streaming services offered directly through the TiVo platform reinforce RCN’s position as leaders in the industry and commitment to offering a rich home entertainment service with excellent customer support.
