Video Scaler

This video scaler, a new generation of the company's Deuce line, converts interlaced video signals (NTSC and PAL) to non-interlaced signals and ouputs it to 10 different resolution formats, including two "custom" formats. The scaler accepts composite S-Video and component input and provides switchable stereo audio inputs that correspond to each video input. Users may choose from four input aspect ratios, which support normal and various wide-screen formats. They may choose between three different output refresh rates.

Offering an enhanced level of video processing and expanded range of features, Deuce Pro features advanced noise reduction providing independent control over chroma and luminance noise reduction and image sharpness circuitry.

The product also features a front panel button which allows the removal of visible had switching lines found at the bottom of video frames coming from VCR tapes. Like Deuce, Deuce Pro's features include adaptive motion compensation, NTSC and PAL standard decoding and video processing control of composite and S-Video inputs. In addition the product offers a two-line luminance comb filter, RS-232 remote control, internal power supply, direct push-button control operations and can be rackmounted or freestanding.
