Signal Quality Manager System
The card-based system was conceived as a total multi-format audio/video solution for monitoring and verifying signal quality from local and remote locations. The system is based on a multiple card and frame design that gives the end user complete customization choices to meet current and future needs. The input cards measure and analyze video and audio from multiple sources including composite analog video, serial digital video, analog audio, AES/EBU audio, embedded audio, MPEG and all HD formats.
The system instantly reports any errors to a master control point through simultaneous monitoring of all inputs offering real time alarms with logging. Additionally, frames may be cascaded to build a system capable of monitoring and reporting on thousands of stations. To further enhance the system capabilities, most alarm settings are variable for amplitude, sensitivity and duration, and the system can serve multiple viewing stations to check total system status.
Additional performance cards are available to expand system capabilities including a GPI card for remote alarm triggers and a streaming video/audio card for remote confidence monitoring. All this is controlled by an easy to understand, color-coded Windows-compatible GUI for quick visual verification of any problem site.
