Snell & Wilcox, Video Design Software Announce Partnership For Custom Software Development
nell & Wilcox Incorporated today announced a partnership with Video Design Software, a custom software provider and systems integrator, for the development of custom Snell & Wilcox RollCall™ Network Management System software for major market broadcast and cable customers. Video Design Software will develop the custom solutions allowing RollCall customers to exactly address the form and functionality needed for each specific application.
According to Larry Mincer, President, Video Design Software, both companies realized a mutual interest in developing high quality custom solutions for each of its customers. With RollCall providing the major portion of the functionality within each customer's facility, Video Design Software will develop enhancements and additional customized software components, device drivers and other modules providing the exact operational requirements for each application.
"Following meetings prior to the recent NAB show, Video Design Software and Snell & Wilcox reached an agreement at NAB to work together in customizing RollCall software applications for both companies' current and potential customer base," said Mincer. Video Design Software is currently discussing needs and requirements with customers for the development of custom RollCall software packages in the near future.
