The 20-bit Antex Model BX-12 incorporates the equivalent of four boards on a single soundcard
Antex ElectronicsAntex Model BX-12 incorporates the equivalent of four boards on a single soundcard. The Model BX-12 features 10 balanced analog outputs and two balanced analog inputs that are controlled via Antex's on-board digital mixer application. With separate record and playback subsystems, each with its own dedicated sample clock, the Broadcaster provides simultaneous recording and playback functions. This makes possible the production of spots, phone calls and program feed recording and editing while playing back a stereo program on-air - all with a single card on a single PC.

The Broadcaster's high level of integration and features give OEMs and developers the ability to simplify integration, increase application functionality and lower the cost of digital broadcast systems. The card currently supports MPEG and 16-bit ADPCM compression. 20-bit converters and Antex's multi-layer board design to prevent electronic interference within the PC provide CD-quality digital audio for the highest quality digital broadcast applications.
