Spain's TVE installs Oxtel systems

TVE, the Spanish national public broadcaster, has purchased an additional eight Oxtel, Inc. Imagestore (Wallingford, UK) master control and channel branding systems, bringing the total number of Imagestores at TVE to 15 systems.

The new Imagestores, to be installed at facilities in Madrid, Barcelona, and the Canary Islands, will be used for channel branding, including the insertion of logos, program schedules, and viewing category information with associated audio playout.

The existing system of seven Imagestores is based at TorrespaƱa, Madrid, and is driven by Louth automation. This Oxtel system is used to brand TVE's international transmissions to Europe, the Americas and Asia.
