AudioRack LP is a low-profile, rack mountable storage system designed to support professional DAWs at a fraction of the cost of competing audio storage solutions. AudioRack LP supports high track count sessions and packs up to 300 GB of high-performance audio storage in 13/4-inches (1U) of rack space.

AudioRack LP, available in two- and four-drive configurations, is optimized to support today's professional DAWs including Pro Tools MIXplus and Steinberg Nuendo systems. Medéa's proprietary Audio Stripe Technology (AST) and integrated hardware controller enable the two-drive AudioRack LP to support the simultaneous playback of up to 24 tracks of audio and the four-drive version to support 64 track sessions of 24-bit/96 kHz audio. AST allows users to effortlessly record and playback up to 64 tracks to and from a single AudioRack LP, eliminating the need to manually manage audio media by juggling between multiple storage devices.

"AudioRack LP is the newest addition to our family of storage solutions optimized for use with digital audio workstations," said Roger S. Mabon, director of marketing for Medea. "AudioRack LP supports professional 64-track audio production in a cost effective 1U rack mountable design."

Working with AudioRack LP is a breeze. AudioRack LP attaches to any DAW equipped with a SCSI host adapter. Users simply attach AudioRack LP to the SCSI host adapter and initialize the system as if it was a single disk drive. As audio storage requirements grow, AudioRack LP modules can be easily daisy-chained together for storage capacities up to 4.5 terabytes for an amazing 65 hours of 64-track, 24-bit/96 kHz sessions.
