Harmonicter TR200 and TransRater TR400 products enable service providers to economically manipulate the MPEG-2 compressed video stream as it passes through the headend and on to the consumer set-top box. Harmonicter technology maintains visibly superior video quality while delivering features such as advertising insertion, grooming and time delay.

With TransRater technology, service providers can now customize video in the compressed domain without transferring between the two domains. TransRater technology improves on existing technology by reducing equipment expense at the headend while still giving service providers the flexibility to customize the compressed digital stream.

TransRater TR200 is an economical solution that allows service providers to modify incoming programming received from the broadcast source without burdening headend operations. TR200 eliminates the decoding and re-encoding process by enabling the service provider to customize the content within the compressed domain. Offering features such as frame accurate splicing, format conversion, pixel-level processing, logo insertion and overlays, TR200 enables service providers to expand and tailor programming to increase their subscriber base.

TransRater TR400 includes all the features of the TR200 plus it allows service providers to splice compressed streams from various broadcast sources. TR400's seamless frame-accurate splicing enables providers to insert, in real time, digital advertising and local programming (news, sports, commercials, etc.) with no visible picture quality deterioration.
