AF Associates, Inc.the first new "operator UN-intensive" tool for isolating objects from their background since the chroma key for color correction and computer graphics applications. With a quick and easy highlight stroke, the operator shows TRAX'IM which objects are of interest. TRAX'IM then defines the edge of the objects or elements. Frame by frame, TRAX'IM automatically follows the object or element as it moves in the scene using advanced image processing techniques formerly only found in machine vision research labs.
The complex image processing algorithms run in operator real time with an integrated DDR (digital disk recorder) providing the necessary buffering.
