Triton Routing Switcher
The interface products include Series 3000 analog distribution amplifiers, Series 6400 distribution amplifiers and converters, and Thomson Multimedia's Evolution line of over 50 interface modules. The Triton line of compact routing switchers includes over 40 size and signal variations.
These families of high quality/low cost interface products and compact routers provide the "in-between" connectivity for larger broadcast systems.
The Series 3000 high quality analog distribution amplifier family features two 3RU frames. Both the video and audio frame have the housing capacity of up to 20 economically priced broadcast quality DA cards for a broad range of functionality. The optional equalization and delay make the Series 3000 perfect for any facility's distribution application. There are seven DAs in the Series 3000 line.
The Series 6400 family of reliable distribution amplifiers and A-to-D/D-to-A converters gives users the option of a 1RU or 2RU frame for audio and video applications. Either frame is ideal for installations with weight and/or rack space restrictions, such as production trucks. There are 16 DAs and five converters in the Series 6400 line.
The Evolution family of modular products utilizes highly configurable 3RU and 1RU frames designed with forced-air cooling and front accessible fans and power supplies. The 3RU frame houses up to 11 mix-and-match modules and two power supplies. Adding of a second power supply insures full power redundancy. The 1RU frame houses three modules and one power supply. All Evolution modules, power supplies, and fan units are hot-swappable for hassle free upgrades. More than 50 interface modules are available to address every customer requirement including audio, video and optical signals.
