The Abakus Eyepiece Extender for broadcast cameras (including HD camcorders), relays the viewfinder image closer to the operator's eye even while panning and tilting. For field or studio production, the camera's original viewfinder becomes difficult to use. The Abakus connects to the standard viewfinder and interfaces with an Arriflex leveling arm, just as it would on a 35mm camera set-up. It has a 55mm diagonal field of view. Eyepiece adjustment is ±4 diopters. Eye relief is 20mm. The Abakus Eyepiece Adapter is ideal for most broadcast cameras.
