Wall And Roof Panels

Modular panels are the basic component of Acoustic Systems' sound isolating rooms.
Modular panels are the basic component of Acoustic Systems' sound isolating rooms. We offer 5 different types of panels, providing a range of noise reduction levels. Panels are constructed of 16 gauge welded steel framing with internal studs on twenty-four inch centers. They are filled with a combination of fiberglass, drywall and steel septums which add mass to increase dampening and sound absorption. This panel filling is acoustically absorbent, mildew resistant and vermin proof. The inner panel skins are made of solid or perforated steel depending on panel type and can be either prime painted or factory finished. Our mar-resistant, washable polyurethane is available with an optional epoxy finish for use in corrosive environments and comes in Acoustic Systems' standard platinum as well as in a wide range of other colors ideal for matching existing decor or for creating new design.

Type 1 Panel Family
Designed for use in areas with relatively loud mid-frequency noise

Type 2 Panel Family
Designed for areas requiring higher noise reduction than provided by the Type 1 Panel

Type 5 Panel Family
Designed for use in areas with extremely high noise levels, severe low frequency noise problems where interior absorption is not required or interior surfaces are likely to be exposed to fluids

Type 6 Panel Family
Like the Type 5, the Type 6 panel is designed for uses where interior absorption is not required and/or interior surfaces are likely to be exposed to fluids. These panels are used when maximum noise reduction is required

Type 8S Panel Family
Designed for use in areas with extremely high noise levels or wherever low frequency noise presents a problem

Type 12S Panel Family
Designed for use in areas where high degrees of both absorption and transmission loss are required
